Crooked Johnny

Johnny who had a crooked smile with crooked teeth had also a crooked nose.
Too many times he had broken it by riding his crooked bicycle at great speed.

A bicycle he built by spare parts from old broken bikes he had…a crooked bicycle.

The Immortal HULK

What I am currently reading on Marvel Unlimited is the Immortal HULK, written by Al Ewing and penciled by Joe Bennet with colours by Paul Mounts and inks by Ruy José Each issue has covers by Alex Ross! Up to now I have read three issues which I liked them so much that I though I should
spread the word.

Issue one of the Immortal Hulk was interesting although I did think I have seen this approach to the character before.

With issue two I had the impression on how the storyline would go, it had a darker feeling to it almost a touch of a horror movie which I liked a lot.

And issue three was simply entertaining!!! One story said by the point of view of four people which means each view was portrayed by the unique style of four different artists Leonardo Romero, Paul Hornschemeier, Marguerite Sauvage and Gary Brown with Joe Bennet doing the framing sequence! It was an amazing issue and I enjoyed reading every single page of it.

Al Ewing is reintroducing the dynamic duo personalities of Bruce Banner and Hulk in a way that I believe will entertain both old and new readers and Joe Bennet’s art is just perfect, defined and detailed!

I will be back for issue four and I strongly suggest for you to check it out.

Miranda – my comic characters

Miranda was shy as a child and even more shy as a teenager, always hiding behind her long fringe.

She loves cats for being so free and the cats loved her for being so shy.

But Miranda although so shy she had a beautiful smile…a smile her boyfriend loved to see with her red shy cheeks.

Atlas – my comic characters

I’m not a comic book artist but I do love to draw and I do have a lot of imagination.

So if I have an idea I draw it and along the way I might build a story.

The following drawing was done in that way. I had the idea of two characters, I brought them together, started the drawing and along way the plot started to thicken.

I small drawing with a small story

enjoy!

When members of Super Force found him he said one word “Atlas”!

They brought the giant to Greece, the land of the Titans of the ancient myths. With no memories of his past he lived in mount Parnitha. He could not adjust yet to a normal life in a city.

Mrs Ninjaki through her connections found clothes of a specific fabric that would fit him. She knitted him a scarf.

Finding Comic Books – X-Men in London

I’m a big fan of the X-Men so l was excited when l heard that an all new Uncanny X-Men series was coming out. The only problem was that l did not know when!

Two days ago l while I was in London I found out that 4 issues had already been published!!!

By chance I was in Soho and I knew that Gosh! Comics was just around the corner.
There I found the first two issues, when I asked for the rest I was informed that issue three was already sold out and that the fourth one was coming out the next day.

I explained that I live in Greece and soon I would be going back so it was so kind of them to offer to keep a copy of issue four and if I was lucky enough maybe they will have an issue three.

Next day I went and GOSH issue 3 & 4 were there waiting for me.

I’m such a happy comic book fan!
